The Cloud: Explained
The cloud, simply, refers to software and services that run on the Internet instead of your computer. There are many advantages to using the cloud. Since the videos, photos,
documents, games, mobile applications and business applications, and other software that lives in the cloud are
available on any device with an Internet connection, you can access your
stuff from anywhere. Is it safe? Only as much as you trust the company -- and your own
passwords. Most cloud companies have excellent security records. More businesses are turning to the cloud services as well. It will save them a lot of time and money. They will also be getting a lot more storage space for all the documents and other files. This is important because computers and hard drives crash and all that data has the potential to be lost. With everything backed up in the cloud, data can survive. On the other hand, it is important to note that if you want something deleted, make sure that it is gone from the cloud as well. Although, nothing can really be gone from the internet, right?
